Mahaegram Citizen Connect: An App for Rural Citizens
Mahaegram Citizen Connect is a free Android app developed by eGovernance Solutions, which provides exclusive solutions for rural citizens to access government services. The app offers a user-friendly interface and allows citizens to obtain certificates such as Birth, Death, Marriage, Namuna 8 (Assessment), and BPL from anywhere.
One of the most useful features of the app is that citizens can pay their property tax online using net banking, credit card, debit card, UPI, and QR scanning. Moreover, they can receive the receipt through the app itself. The app is also beneficial for Grampanchayat employees as it enables them to collect property tax and provide receipts at the doorstep of property holders.
